Saturday mornings are very busy at SLJ and we try to offer a variety of sessions to suit lots of people. 

SLJ Saturday run

Every Saturday at 09.15 we have a group run. This is suitable for faster and steadier runners, the coach sets a route where those who run  bit faster are able to take optional loops so they cover a greater distance.  The route is normally between 4.5 - 5 miles leaving from Hollybush recreation ground. We try to vary our routes in and around the local parkland, we don't often do road runs.

In addition to the main group runs we are also able to offer a Gentle Jogging group run on most weeks. This group has a coach who sets a shorter distance of around 3-4 miles and the pace is a bit more steady allowing for walk breaks along the way, especially on some of our hillier paths! This group also leaves Hollybush at 9.15 promptly.
